This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: HDD repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm this replacement will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most drive PCBs have unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip that is required for correct operation. That ROM, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
