This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm a replacement PCB will fix your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and check compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip, or its data, must be moved or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
