This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most drive PCBs include a ROM (memory) chip that stores unique drive-specific data required for proper operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
