This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before buying, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm a replacement PCB can resolve your issue, and review the Donor Matching Guide to verify compatibility. Important: many PCBs store unique factory data on a ROM ("memory") chip; that information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its saved data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform it. For customers with orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto your new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
