This sale is for the WD5000AVDS-63U7B0, 2061-701640-300 ACD1 WD SATA 3.5 hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs store unique parameters in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
