Product consists of the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the hard drive is NOT included. Actual board received may vary slightly from the photo due to high stock levels. This PCB is supplied for use in hard drive repairs and data-recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB replacement will address your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and check compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs contain unique parameters stored in a ROM memory chip that are required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For purchases of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
