This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive mechanism is included. Part numbers: WD5000AAKX-75U6AA0 / 2061-771640-103 AMD21. We stock a large quantity of these PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Purpose: designed for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB is likely to fix your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive PCBs contain a ROM memory chip that holds drive-specific data required for normal operation. That ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function correctly. If the ROM can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
