This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large number of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery projects. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will address your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many drive PCBs hold vital, unique information in a ROM “memory” chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. Either the ROM chip itself or its data must be moved to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
