This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the unit you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended用途: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most WD PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
