This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — no hard drive is included. Actual PCB received may differ slightly from the photo because we maintain a large inventory. This replacement PCB is intended for use in data recovery and HDD repair. To confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue, please follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for proper operation. That ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a qualified local technician can perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
