This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Most hard drive PCBs hold unique data in a ROM chip; that ROM contents are required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip (or its data) must be transferred to the replacement board — a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer if the chip is movable.
