Product is the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB shipped may vary slightly from the pictured item. This replacement board is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, verify that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs include a ROM "memory" chip that stores unique data required for proper hard drive operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the new circuit board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip.
