This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Due to a large stock of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the pictured unit. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your problem by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs contain unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If a physical chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. We provide a complimentary adaptation service (ROM chip transplant or reprogramming of the new board with the correct ROM data) for orders of $60 or more.
