This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no HDD is included. Due to large stock levels, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the picture. This PCB is intended for use in data recovery and hard drive repair. Most PCBs contain drive-specific configuration stored in a ROM "memory" chip, and that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board; if the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
