This sale is for the hard drive PCB/logic board only — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory, so the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This replacement board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery uses. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most HDD circuit boards store unique parameters in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board; if the chip can be moved, a local technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
