This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the image shown. Intended application: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify part compatibility in the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
