Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact circuit board shipped may vary slightly from the photo. This board is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. Before ordering, verify that a PCB replacement will resolve your problem by consulting our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most replacement PCBs contain unique factory data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred or written to the new board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that task.
