This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large number of boards, so the item you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for HDD repair and data-recovery use. Most hard drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM "memory" chip, and that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board; if you cannot perform the transfer, a local computer technician can usually handle the task.
