This sale includes the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Compatible with WD5000AAKS-60WWPA0 (board 2061-771640-Z03 03P) for 3.5" SATA drives; because we stock large quantities, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for use in drive repair and data recovery, a replacement board will only work if it is a correct match for your drive — please review our Donor Matching Guide and follow the Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide before ordering. Most WD PCBs store unique configuration data in the ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot move the chip yourself, a qualified computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
