This sale is for the hard drive PCB (printed circuit board / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
