This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — NO hard drive is included. Because we ship from a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; this information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If a physical chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform that task. For orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
