This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large stock of compatible PCBs, so the board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured unit. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many SATA 3.5 PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function. The ROM chip or its data must be moved or programmed onto the replacement circuit board. If transplanting the chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
