This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Due to our large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These replacement boards are provided for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM chip; that information is required for proper operation. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be moved to the replacement board. If a physical chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the job. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
