Product is the hard drive PCB / logic board only. No drive is included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may not be identical to the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before ordering, verify that a replacement PCB is likely to fix your drive by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many PCBs store unique ROM (memory) data that is required for the drive to function. That ROM content must be moved or copied to the replacement board; if the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local technician can usually perform the swap. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
