This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY. No hard drive is included. Due to a large on-hand stock, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. To determine whether replacing the PCB will resolve your issue, follow our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs hold unique data in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its contents, must be transferred to the replacement circuit board. If physical transfer of the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which will either move the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the new board with the correct ROM data.
