This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large stock, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is supplied for use in data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement board will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for correct drive operation, so the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
