This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, please follow our hard drive diagnostics guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement circuit board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For customers who spend $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
