Product is a replacement hard drive circuit board (PCB, Logic board) ONLY — the actual hard drive is not included. We have a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct drive operation; this ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
