This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we carry a large quantity of replacement PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip is removable, a local computer technician should be able to transplant it. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either relocating the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
