This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we carry a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will fix your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: many hard drive PCBs include unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip — that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
