This listing is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Use: Intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Important: Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip which is required for the drive to operate correctly. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transplant yourself, a local computer technician should be able to move the chip.
