This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm compatibility by using our Donor Matching Guide and consult the hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether replacing the PCB will resolve your issue. Many hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
