This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive or other components are included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive circuit boards store required information on a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is essential for correct operation. The ROM chip itself, or its stored data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer; for customers spending $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
