This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured example. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive circuit boards contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly and must be transferred or reproduced on the replacement PCB. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new board or reprogramming the replacement PCB with the correct ROM data.
