This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock large quantities, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Use: This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery applications. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: Most hard drive PCBs store unique data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct operation. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot move the chip yourself, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. Services: For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transferring the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
