This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your problem by consulting our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most HDD PCBs contain drive-specific information stored in a ROM (memory) chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement with the correct ROM data.
