This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your problem, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most SATA 3.5 PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If transplanting the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
