This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board (PCB) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers purchasing $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
