This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that work. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
