This listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. The PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery use. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may look slightly different from the photo. Important: many WD PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip—or its data—must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can typically relocate the chip.
