This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm compatibility by following our Donor Matching Guide and run our hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a replacement board will resolve your problem. Many PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly; that ROM data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer professional can usually perform the transplant, or you can consult our PCB Replacement Guide if you plan to do it yourself. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
