This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. The board is intended for HDD repair or data recovery purposes. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data that is required for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can move the chip for you. For purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service which includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new circuit board with the correct ROM data.
