This listing includes the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Purpose: Intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Important technical note: Most hard drive PCBs store unique data in a ROM ("memory") chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM chip, or its contents, must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be transplanted, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
