This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Prior to purchase, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive circuit boards store unique information in the ROM memory chip which is required for the drive to function properly. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical transfer of the chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
