This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large quantity of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement board will correct your drive by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most WD drive PCBs contain unique ROM memory information required for proper operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip.
