This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of compatible WD SATA 3.5 drives. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide to ensure the board will work with your drive. Important: most hard drive PCBs include unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can physically move the ROM chip to the new PCB. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
