This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we keep a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB replacement will resolve your problem by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and check compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM 'memory' chip that is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot move the chip yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or programming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
