This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock large quantities, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended for HDD repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and check compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved to the replacement board (or the new board must be reprogrammed with that data). If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the work. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
