This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB, Logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Prior to purchasing, use our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most replacement PCBs include unique data stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that information is mandatory for proper hard drive operation and must be transferred to the new circuit board. If possible, the ROM chip can be physically moved to the replacement board — a local computer technician should be able to perform this transfer. For purchases of $60 or more, we provide complimentary adaptation service which covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
