This sale includes only the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board). No hard drive, platter assembly, or other components are included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will address your problem by consulting our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most HDD PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function properly. That ROM chip — or its contents — must be transferred to the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can perform the chip relocation. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to your new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
